Pune (Maharashtra) [India], July 5: Parents of girls took to the streets on Tuesday morning at Badlapur Railway Station in Maharashtra's Thane district, staging a massive protest. The demonstration, which brought local train services to a standstill, was triggered by accusations of child abuse against a 25-year-old male teacher who worked at the school.

Several 10-year-old girls informed the TC of what their teacher had been doing with them during school hours. Allegedly a 25-year-old man, committed sexual misconduct with the children due to which they have got traumatized. After these accusations were made, the teacher was quickly taken into custody to further question him and complete an investigation.

This boiled over to a protest on the streets with angry parents of these children hitting the Badlapur Railway Station in numbers.
